Suzy and Chang were married at the Gyung Hyang Garden Presbyterian Church, a church they attended when they were younger. This place is where they shared many fond memories with their family and friends. It’s amazing to see how the church has expanded and grew since it started. Suzy looked so radiant and full of joy on her wedding day, and when I met Chang I understood why she’s so happy. Although it’s my first time meeting him, I can tell that’s he’s very down to earth, and knows exactly how to make Suzy laugh (a very important trait in terms of photography :p). After their first look, we simply walked around the outside of the church for some beautiful portraits of this fun couple. Although their ceremony was completely in Korean, the language barrier didn’t prevent anyone from celebrating Suzy and Chang’s marriage. They didn’t have a traditional reception, instead they wanted something that focused on their family and friends. While their guests were enjoying the delicious Korean food, they walked around from table to table to greet everyone despite not really eating the whole day. Judging by the smiles and laughter all around, they were truly loved by those around them. It’s no wonder since they place such an importance on the relationships they’ve built throughout the years.
Suzy and Chang, thank you a million times for your kindness and complete trust in me, I wish you nothing but the best in your married life! And thank you George for all your assistance with the lighting =].
