On a day that no doubt can be stressful, it’s so refreshing to see Cindy not only calm and collected, but takes a few moments to celebrate the little victories such as being able to hold her hotel room for another night. She giggled out loud, took a few deep breaths of relief, and told us that she’s so happy that she doesn’t need to pack all her stuff away in the morning. This is the kind of woman that Jonathan fell in love with, someone who doesn’t sweat the small stuff, greets life with smiles and laughter, and most importantly, enjoys classic TVB series with him.
Their wedding day was filled with fun traditional Chinese elements such as door games where Jonathan and his groomsmen
were tortured… played challenging games in order to win entrance to the bride’s room. There’s also a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where Cindy and Jonathan expressed their respect to their elders by serving them tea. During the toasts, we not only learned about the strong bromance brewing between Jonathan and his best man, but also how Cindy took care of Jonathan when he was injuried. And we can’t forget the various Backstreet Boys’ songs sang by Jonathan and his groomsmen throughout the day =].
Cindy and Jonathan, thank you so much for the opportunity to document your special day. It was an absolute pleasure capturing your wedding! Thank you to the awesome Pieter Sienatra for photographing this beautiful wedding with me.
Feel free to also take a look at their fun Brooklyn engagement session.
