Irene has always been very artistic. I remember being thoroughly impressed after seeing some of her Japanese anime drawings back in high school. She currently runs a fashion and cosplay blog that has a lot of useful info. She even wrote blog posts about her wedding planning. And it’s no surprise that this creative bride, would design and plan a wedding full of beautiful DIY details sprinkled throughout. When I first photographed Irene and Kwang, it was during a wintry day in January, and since we were by the Hudson River in Jersey City, the heavy wind added to the freezing factor. But you wouldn’t know it by looking at Irene and Kwang. They were all smiles and as cute as can be! Fortunately their spring wedding day was full of sunshine and more smiles from these two and their family and friends! Besides smiles, there were a lot of happy tears shed when this couple was wed and even during the reception. And just as much as joyful smiles, there were a lot of crazy dancing at their reception. And as a grand finale, their night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit.
Thank you so much Irene and Kwang for the honor of documenting your wedding day! And thank you to the talented Chris Bartow for joining me in photographing this special day.
